Adventures provide trained surf instructors with a passion for
sharing their sport. We give the beginner the opportunity to
learn this solo sport in a safe and friendly atmosphere. After
the course, the fresh surfer will gain the confidence to strike
out and hit the waves on his or her own. Downhill Adventures
offers one day courses and multi-day courses at the finest beaches
in Cape Town with wave not to overwhelm but ideal for learning. |

request Downhill Adventures will take experienced surfers
to the best breaks on the Peninsula.
With
the world made up by 90% water, it would be a shame not to
utilise such a large playground. Learn to ride the wave dude!

Downhill Adventures gets those wannabe surfers off the beach
and onto a board.
Downhill
Adventures teaches absolute beginners the basics of surfing:
paddling out, reading the wave, catching a wave and how to
control your body weight to stand-up. The boards we use are
Mini Mals (Long boards); these boards are light, stable, and
ideal for learning to surf. |
Surf
School : Learn to surf in a day
Downhill
will fill you in on surfer secrets that take years to learn.
We will condense a lifetime of surfing into a day's lesson.
Our instructors are experienced surfers who who give hands
on theoretical and practical training, both on the beach and
in the water.
The
surf locations are at the best beaches in Cape Town and it's
surrounding areas, with waves ideal for both beginners and
experienced surfers. Our combination of specially designed
'learner' boards and expert tuition get you up and riding
in no time.
There
will be two or three sessions in the water interspersed with
a relaxing day on the beach. Our trips include a healthy lunch,
all .equipment, guides and transport to and from the beaches.
