Downhill Adventures : Mountain Biking Winelands Meander Tour

A leisurely ride through forest and vineyards on some of Cape Town’s finest wine farms in Constantia.

Farms include Groot Constantia, Buitenverwagting and Uitsig. The ride starts just beyond Constantia nek, and is a continuos downhill through the various estates. The ride follows paths through the indigenous forest of the area, and then meanders through the villas and large estates that make this area famous, giving a great perspective into historic and cultural Cape living. This is a leisurely ride giving one an insight into traditional Cape culture by way of direct experience and participation. One will feel a sense of accomplishment and have an unforgettable experience as the gratification of cycling ones own bike will far surpass the experience of observing it from a bus window.

Have your own choice of wines at the various award winning estates and learn all about the wines you choose. Your day will end off at Peddlers-on-the-Bend, a typical Cape restaurant, for a late lunch.
